Base-mesh in engine

Reception/lobby is the only room without a base mesh. Much simpler to build it with solids in Cryengine.


The stairway takes you up to the balconies of the courtyard needs populating with draped cloth wall hangings ect

Midway Rethink

Getting to the middle of the project and i'm really unhappy with the quality or design of the work done so far. I have had a serious think of where i want to go from here and how i can improve my FMP with as little waste of time and work already done. I have remade the courtyard and corridor to trying to keep the design closer to my original concepts.

Still so much work to do! But making huge progress this week just got to keep it up

 Lantern lights dotted around the level, a early assets but is a iconic feature of the theme. Have been used to create some nice shadows in the corridors


 This stair case takes the player up to the second floor walkway in the courtyard. Still needing allot of extra work, with railings and carpets and extra decoration. Chandelier might work in this space.

The reception is empty, but has been blocked out and staircase added at the courtyard entrance

Asset Update

Remade the fountain to have a more interesting shape.

Four variations of windows, need to tweak the textures and materials at some point to sell the model

Mosque Door - The large door was baked down from high to low polly. However I have still kept some extrusions of the mesh. I have used part of the model to build another square door.

To help add movement to the courtyard I have incorporated a "boid" set of small birds flying above the courtyard.
